I use a Fuji FinePix S9500 Camera, lots of goodies with a really nice viewfinder and mostly easy to use controls, I also like Olympus cameras for thier quality of colour and good lenses....

It all started in a local book store about five years ago and a book called "create a web site" the final result can be seen at www.isleofwightpictures.co.uk/  after many designs and redesigns the final result has taken literally hours and hours of work, how it was done will follow when I have a bit more time..

I had been taking pictures all my life and after my divorce I had plenty of time to ponder on the idea of having my own photo web site, I had no clue how to do this and where to start so the book described above was a good place to begin, it said you must learn HTML, hyper text markup language, a browser reads this code and converts it to a web page, so far so good, you need a programme to write this code, try NoteTab light  Its free, google it, now spend countless hours trying to do it read the book a dozen times and keep trying.

You will need a web address, this must describe your site exactly if you are to succeed and will cost you a few quid per annum, the good addresses are mostly gone so be determined,  your web host is not so cheap the above cost £60 a year, you can get free hosts, dont bother they fill your pages with silly adverts.

There is however another way to get a good looking website, you borrow a predesigned webpage from an expert, if you go to www.openwebdesign.org you can browse hundreds of designs and choose one that suits your needs, you will still need some knowledge but this time of   XHTML / CSS , there are limits to using these designs so read the licence agreements. You will need to alter the color, wording, etc, so its not easy peasy all the way...

Now some interesting points ( I hope ) re processing photos.......A  digital picture is a file, made up of a digital code, straight from the camera they are TOO BIG for web use, so how do I use them, crop them, or alter them, the answer is use a programme, photoshop elements 3 or 4 will do nicely, with this prog you can crop, alter, hide your wifes face, and anything else you want, most of all you can save to the exact pixel width, and reduce the file size so that it loads quickly on any computer.  a lot of pictures on SH are flash pictures, bright red pussies and cocks dont look so good, try using normal light in the daytime digi cameras are very good at daylight shots so use them for that...
