The way forward

Where are you going..?

A simple exercise that should be read a few times until you are familiar with it. Once familiar with the path you should take about 10 minutes in silence and solitude to run this journey through your head. It is important that you DO NOT think about the final question until you are on your own.

Imagine you are walking along a path that runs through an unknown vista. You are barefoot and you can feel the dusty, stony path beneath your feet (even though at times you cannot see it)

It is dark and although the land around you is unknown you do not feel afraid, though perhaps a little unsure of where you are heading.

There is a sense of journey and purpose as you stride forward. Gradually your eyes become more accustomed to the darkness and certain aspects of the World around you become a little more familiar. You see trees and bushes, rolling hills yet you keep to the path. You continue to walk but are unsure where the path is leading you, though, up ahead you can see the tall, dark, looming shape of a forest in the distance. The path leads directly up to the forest and you can see it continues on its way through the forest.

You continue forward into the forest. There is darkness on both sides of you now and there is a sense of the unknown waiting just outside of arm’s reach. You feel as if you are being scrutinized; watched.

The deeper you go into the forest the darker it becomes; the more oppressive it seems and the more uncertain your footing becomes. Now the path becomes overgrown and you have to force your way through the undergrowth to continue forward. It is very difficult but you know you must persevere because ahead you see in the dimness that the path stops in front of an immense wall that stretches across the land as far as the eye can see.

The wall is tall. So high that it needs to be climbed to get over it, for there is no door or gateway through. You notice by the side of the path a tree that has grown against the wall and its branches are easy to climb. You feel compelled to climb and so carefully and slowly you begin to ascend. Again you feel the dry bark on the branches under your bare feet.

At length you reach the top of the wall and you wait a moment to catch your breath before looking over it. Then you draw yourself up and sure of your footing you look over the wall for the very first time…

A concept applied to ancient religions to describe the diversity of Gods / Goddesses is that Man has, throughout history, found the notion of a single almighty too much to cope with. That like a lot of information that Man is forced to process God is easier to focus on / concentrate on if dissected into smaller chunks or lesser beings, deities or Gods. Even better for Man to understand if the Gods are given dominion over specific areas of life.  So that it doesn’t become too confusing for us to imagine that a single almighty Deity might have dominion over all things. (???!!!)

Poor Mankind. So limited in its scope and understanding.

What works for you, however, is the maxim that should be applied here.

Active visualisation. Creative visualisation. Focus.

Is it really that simple?

Those that are still here. Listening. Not sleeping. Waiting.

You.

Time to start thinking about what it is that you really want. Time to be selfish.

No-one knows what it is in your heart that you desire but you.

If it is a material thing, perhaps I have awoken you too early. Go back to sleep….

For the rest, time is almost at hand.

Are you ready to reveal yourself?

Time to tread careful. The World is evolving.

Conformity is not a word that should be taken or used lightly. We are taught from an early age that we must conform: that those who do not are deviant and must be forced to live outside of society. Those that transgress the laws of society are unworthy of the protection of society.

Animals.

But.......The laws of nature do not respect conformity. There is an ever-present mutability that encourages non-conformity. Evolution is no more than a series of mutations. Darwinists proposed that mutation is caused by a process of natural selection. That is their law, in theory.

When people make laws however, there are always those that choose to live outside of them. Not to be awkward. But because they know they are wrong.

For them.

We are individual.

But we hide in amongst the multitudes. Afraid to reveal ourselves. Safety in numbers and eventually...Stagnation and Death.

Time to step out of the crowd. You know what you are. Now it is time to find out who you are.

You can feel it, can't you?

If you can't go back to sleep; step back into the crowd. Disappear. Merge. Become one with the rest.

Not long now. Are your eyes opening? Have you begun to ... evolve.

Back to nature.  

Slavery exists.

No matter how free we tell ourselves we actually are, we actually aren't.

Whether you are enslaved by your profession or occupation; by your relationships; by your financial situation; by your own morals or by something more sinister, more insidious you are, in essence, in bondage.

How to break free? How many actually want to?

Some of us define our existence by the extent of our misery. We accentuate our own slavery by our subjugation of others. Have you never looked down your nose at someone less fortunate than yourself and felt secure in the constraints of your hire-purchase reality? Doesn't your bondage make you actually feel secure?

Those that walk in the shadows seldom feel enslaved by what is there, because they know that the absence of light does not bring forth evil. That evil also exists in the light...That good and evil are the same thing and that it is only our personal interpretation of such a force that determines it's colour.

White? Black? Grey?

Left? Right?

Straight on is the only way forward.

If you listen very carefully, I can tell you which way to head...The rest is up to you.

Time to break the chain. Throw away those mental shackles and listen...
