First weeks progress
Well here we have it the first week is done and this is what I have done so far... My aim is to get fit and loose some weight over the coming months. I am eating a bit better as well but food is my major vice so im not sure just how good I can be so this is why I have scrapped the Diet blog and started a swimming one.
Saturday 8th 1.5 Miles
Sunday 1 Mile
Monday 1 Mile
Tuesday 1 Mile
Wednesday / Lesson plus half a mile, In my lesson (the first of 6) the instructor ainly watched to se what I did in my breast stroke, Back stroke etc. After she watched me for a bit she asked me to swim without using my arms holding onto a floaty thing... Then we practised learning to breath properly doing breast stroke and she told me that my knees needed to be together while doing the breast stroke??? still not worked out what she must have been meaning by that. After my lesson I practised for a bit but did not keepcount of the total lengths that I had done.
Thursday 1 Mile
Friday 3/4 Mile then a great massage at the health spa.....
Saturday 1 Mile
Sunday 1 Mile.. Although I dont think I will be able to swim tommorow due to business commitments but we will see.
